Tests - Men
(Updated 1 Nov 2011)
Pakistan "hosted" Sri Lanka in a two-test series in the UAE in October. Pakistan had by far the better of the first match but Sri Lanka managed to hold on for a draw. However, Sri Lanka failed to muster more than 260 in either of its innings in the second test and Pakistan won inside four days.

Bangladesh and the West Indies also drew in a rain-affected match at Chittagong.

There were no positional changes on the table last month, but Pakistan reached its highest rating since 2009, while Sri Lanka's rating has not been lower since 2006.
